The goal of the site is to exchange and gather information on paranormal investigation, ghost hunting and the unexplained.
One of the major problems in recruiting members to such organisations has been not being able to easily identify people local to them because they have little information apart from a name on a forum. I believe that the Paranormal Friendfinder will help to solve this problem and enable people to connect with each other not just locally but also globally.
You will be able to search for, and talk online to researchers in a village in England or a town in Australia or any other location you choose, from whereever you are in the world.
If you want to find out more about a haunted location, or a UFO sighting, you could just read about it, but wouldn't it be better to talk to someone that lives there or is at the same place where a sighting has occurred ?
You will be able to exchange information and ideas about whatever your particular interest may be, whether its ghosts, UFOS, conspiracy theories or a wide range of other closely related subjects. Or you can recruit others for your own existing research group or find like minded people to start your own.
Aside from the Paranormal Friendfinder, you get exclusive videos, trip reports and photographs of locations that I have visited all over the world. These are not second hand accounts, but places that I have sought out as someone genuinely interested in the paranormal. Whenever possible in order to add to the atmosphere, I have visited these locations by myself and at times when few, or no other people were around.
At many of these locations I have conducted night time investigations, and, I will also be including these reports when a case is of particular interest. Contrary to popular belief the amount of paranormal occurrences during the day are almost equal to those made at night, and due to the greater visablity during the daylight hours videos and photographs taken during this time are actually more interesting visually which is why this site places a greater emphasis on them. There is little scientific basis for the belief that ghosts only come out at night, and it is far more to do with a mythical association created as a result of horror movies and "scary stories told around campfires".
This site will not be neutral in regard to the paranormal but actively seek to disprove the many misconceptions regarding it, in order to better substantiate the claims that are genuine. Future plans include live webcam broadcasts of investigations, and further solo overnight stays in haunted locations.
There is no point in having an opinion if no one hears it. I have no hidden agenda, I fully ackowledge to doing everything I can to publicize this site in order to further promote my research and opinions as well as make it financially viable. The only thing about publicity seeking that is unethical, is if you pretend you are not doing it.
